NWYC's Finest in Dread Locks

One thing we always appreciate is the chance to be with and enjoy the great people who go cruisin'.

Our Leaders at an dress-up evening dinner.

Shaw Park Gardens

We did not eat locally in Jamaica, we took snacks and then went back early and had lunch at the ship.
However we did take a cab to Shaw Park Gardens (see pictures) and then back into Ocho Rios.
Cab fares are fairly high.
The city of Ocho Rios is only a 10 to 15 min walk from the main dock.
Ocho Rios seemed to be split into two sections. The tourist section of town which was gated and guarded and the local section of town which was an experience into a third world ghetto.
Maybe not a must see but certainly an experience that reminds us of the wealth and prosperity we have in America.

Did anyone eat locally in Jamaica?

After the *ahem* events of last year, the Devendorfs are going to take it easy in Jamaica. We were thinking of maybe venturing to a local eatery for lunch--something within walking distance of the pier. Anyone have suggestions?

Thank you.

See you in 38 days...but who's counting? :)

Grand Cayman Stingray City Video

Stingray City was a SCREEM and a Hoot and Hooler.
Grand Cayman- Stingray city and snorkeling are a must at this stop. Just don't snorkel with John L., he keeps swimming in your space and scares all the fish away!

Jamaica mon- We did two trips- beach in the morning, it was just "ok". The waterfall park was fantastic.

Did anyone Jet ski?
